~Together Again~
How long has it been since you, I've no seen.
We were blind to the truth, but the fading of youth
Brings an inner cognition that we all have a mission
To love the world.
~
We were never apart, even though it was hard.
We misunderstood, and we thought it was good
To seek separate ways in these mystical days
And love the world.
~
A deeply shared pleasure is a wonderful measure
Of a love that is true, that is me, that is you.
And all swirl and dances in this world full of chances,
When we love the world.
~
The voices are shrill, condemning our will,
But what can they say, these people of clay
Who's ears cannot hear, who's hearts shrinks in fear
Of loving the world.
~
We're together again come sun, or come rain,
For the balance is sure, the harmony pure.
No pleasure without sadness, no sorrow without gladness,
In loving the world.
